Head - Interorbital narrow about 1/2 eye diameter; anterior nostral tubular; posterior nostral with small flap on anterior rim; Papillae - A transverse pattern with three vertical rows anterior of row b; row 5i/6i attached to the anterior of row b and not extending below the level of row d; no rows extending below row d; Color - Preserved color - straw-colored with 13 prominent and sharply defined dark brown bands on the body behind the pectoral fin.
